SWAG (Students With Academic Goals) SAT Prep Academy : SWAG is an intensive, 2 ½ -week SAT Prep Academy located at Bayview Baptist Church, weekdays June 11-26, 2020. Students must currently be in Grade 9, 10 or 11 (in Grade 10, 11 or 12 in Fall 2020.) The program includes SAT Instruction, Tutoring, Lunch, Team-Building and Field Trips to SDSU and UC San Diego. Priority Deadline: March 31. It is a competitive process and acceptance is not guaranteed. Families must attend an Orientation in May and students must take a pre-test in June. Information: http://www.calsoapsandiego.org/workshops Online Application: https://beatriton.ucsd.edu/register/2020swag SAT Scholars: SAT Scholars is an intensive SAT Prep Academy held at USD (University of San Diego) over the course of 6 Saturdays: June 27-August 8. (No class July 4.) Students must currently be in Grade 9, 10 or 11 (Grade 10, 11 or 12 in Fall 2020) and must have taken Integrated Math III or higher by June 2020. Each session is 8:30am-12:30pm. Unlike SWAG, this program doesn’t include field trips, food, tutoring, etc. It is strictly SAT Preparation instruction. SAT Scholars applications are due April 10; it is a competitive process and acceptance is not guaranteed. Entry is $5 and goes towards costumes for the group. We would love to have you! On Thursday, Jan. 30, at 5:30 p.m . we will host a meeting for students and parents interested in taking AP classes next school year. Current AP students and teachers will attend the meeting to provide information and answer questions.
